So Happy!

I'm so happy!  I got first views in forever today!!!  Thanks you guys so much!!!  But, along with that, today feels like a sad day for some reason.  My teacher asked me if i was ok today, twice.  I wonder if it's just me though cuz he asked me before...  It's prob just my hair and how i stare off into space and how im quiet and stuff...  Oh well, i don't feel especially bad today.

To sum it all up

This weekend was ok.  The guard show ended up good.  We got a 75.something and it's just our second showing and got the best score out of everybody there so yay.  Then, the ensemble practice went ok.  We, honestly, didn't do much practicing.  We ended up talking most of the time which is ok.  The french horn kept wanting to see (sort of) my cat which lives outside.  So i sent him outside to check cuz he was willing to but the cat didn't show.  We also ended up talking about centaurs because of our ensemble assembly call...  it's a long story... and then we talked about Sexy and I Know It and a bunch of other random stuff.  Then, they had to leave and they both assumed the cat was dead even though i had pictures (they accused me of using strings and posing him for pictures, even in the video).  Yup, we aren't very productive.  So, now the cat is inside and i need to take another video of  him and make sure that he jumps and the whole cat is in the frame at once to prove there aren't any strings.  And the Trombone player insists he can't watch the video cuz he's moving to Canada...  ergh.  Oh, well.  I actually really love my ensemble so it's not like im angry with them or anything.  Oh, and I'm working on another poem so hopefully that will be finished in another week or so if i can get my butt moving.  And idk if it makes a difference (since Blog of Barium-ness hasn't been viewed in the last few days) but i appreciate any comments you leave me.  I hope to use criticism or praise to help improve.  Thanks!

A trip!

So, today, I'm going on a trip!  Do i really want to?  No, not really...  It's a guard trip.  My sister is on winter guard and they have a trip just about every weekend for the next while to compete.  So, i have to go with her, on the bus, on the school bus....  At least today is a short trip (a late, short trip). Last week, we spent over 8 hours on a school bus and it sucked cuz the heaters in the back of the bus weren't working...  i don't exactly hate going on the trips but they can be bothersome when you really just don't want to do anything on a Saturday.  At least i have an easy job.  i get to sit in the stands and take pictures while other people pull the tarp (or, like last year, props).  It can be fun but it can also be boring. At least it gives me a chance to get more people on my 3DS miiplaza!!  Last week, we were at a truck stop and i got a guy named Romeo on it and i just wanted to yell out "Romeo, Romeo!  Where fort art tho Romeo!" in the truck stop.  However, i resisted the urge in fear of looking stupid...  Well, wish the team luck as we get ready to perform for the second time this season!

Ensemble... Assemble!!

So, I have this ensemble for band and we're getting ready to compete in this competition thing-a-ma-jig.  Anyway, we're a quintet consisting of two trumpets, a french horn, a trombone and a tuba.  Oh, and I'm the only girl...  So, when my dad found out that some of the guys are coming over on Sunday to practice he said "a bunch of guys are coming over to play with my daughter?" it was an awkward moment in my house...  Anyway, we're all pretty cool.  Right now, we have an assembly and mating call (yes, a mating call, it's made up of this call-response part in the music).  It's all pretty crazy.  Maybe I'll tell you a bit more about us and if we make it or not later.  I just ask that you wish me luck on Sunday, the ones that are coming over can be a bit of handful... Actually just the one.......

Mustache Monday

Ergh, Monday is Mustache Monday and I have the mustache but i have no idea how to put it on.  It's pretty much the mustache from the bottom of those novelty glasses with the glasses, big nose and mustache (actually, that is what it is).  Right now i just have it sitting next to the computer... It reminds me of Romano from Hetalia.  Ha ha.  So, any ideas?

Random Poem 1

ok! So I made up a poem just now so I could put it as a post so that I actually have something to show somebody who might be interested in this blog.  I usually write darker poems and brighter stories but it just so happens that this poem is a little bit happier.  I hope it means something to you as it kind of does to me.  Thanks for reading this and please enjoy.

So, I realize that I'm posting twice in one day and I'm not sure if that's normal but I figured I would tell you a little bit about my plans for Blog of Barium-ness.  So, as I think I've said earlier, I'm going to post some of the things that I write and I'll probably talk about anime and manga and all of that other awesome stuff that I think is cool totally awesome.  So, once again, thank you for reading my posts!

Hi.  This is my first post so I hope I'm doing this right.  I want to start off by saying thanks for checking out my blog!  I know that, unless you specifically searched for it, you probably wandered upon it by accident.  At least you decided to stick with it and read my first post!  So, I thank you for doing that.  So, if you did stumble upon this by accident, I want to tell you that this blog is most likely not going to be about science, even though the title has something to do with the elements...  It's kind of an inside joke that you could probably figure out but for the sake of saving space, I'm going to skip telling you about it for now.  My plans are to hopefully post some writing that I do in my spare time.  Anyway, I just ask that if you decide to follow me, that you please support and stick with me.  I hope to finish my education while at the same time achieving my dreams on the side.  Thank you!
